VLM is introducing a direct daily service (except Saturday) from London to Groningen in the Netherlands. The timing will be structured to offer a day visit to London from the north Holland city close to the German border. Outbound from London City departure is 1750, arriving Groningen at 2120. In the other direction the timings are 0650 touching down in London at 0735 (all times local). Earlier this month VLM doubled its services between London City and Amsterdam from six to 12 weekdays. The carrier has also announced that it will introduce a new direct route between Manchester and Antwerp, and increase the number of flights it offers between London City and Antwerp to four, both from 30 October.
