VLM, the Belgium based airline, the largest operator at London City Airport, says that its new four times daily route to Manchester is easily meeting expectations. Currently flying mostly business passengers the airline says that it might up the service once more leisure traffic is attracted in the spring. Time keeping has been excellent. In a move that further strengthens its position at LCY the airline has appointed Titus Johnson, formerly UK sales manager, as commercial director, VLM Airlines, responsible for the European commercial, sales, marketing and communication activities. VLM serves Manchester, Brussels, Antwerp, Rotterdam, Luxembourg, and D”sseldorf (MGL) from London City Airport and, Antwerp Rotterdam and London City from Manchester Airport.
