UNITED AIRLINES' new premium service for coast-to-coast travellers called p.s. is currently being introduced on the New York ” San Francisco route. Quietly launched between New York and Los Angeles at the end of October, p.s. is a three class operation and offers travellers more space and comfort, and a superior level of service on their five- to six-hour transcontinental flight. Once fully rolled out, the new p.s. service will operate seven daily roundtrip flights between LAX and JFK, and six between JFK and SFO. First class includes lie-flat seats, business more legroom and improved menus, whilst even economy offers power points to every seat for laptops and JetConnect access.
