United Airlines will increase the frequency of its flights from Heathrow to New York Newark to six-times daily.
The US carrier will operate an additional daily service during its summer schedule – April 5 to October 28.
It now offers more flights per day to Newark then any airline operating from Heathrow.
The additional flight, UA76, will depart Heathrow at 11:40 a.m, arriving in Newark at 15:05 p.m. The return flight, UA77, will depart Newark at 21:30 p.., arriving at Heathrow at 9:40 a.m.
The flights will be operated by Boeing 763-300 aircraft featuring a total of 214 seats – 30 Business Class and 184 in Economy, including 49 Economy Plus seats.
Flight times will be eight hours 25 minutes westbound and seven hours 10 minutes eastbound.
