UNITED AIRLINES last Friday (4 June) launched daily non-stop services between Washington/Dulles and Zurich becoming the only airline to offer non-stop flights between the two cities. The flights will be operated by three-class Boeing 767-300 aircraft with a flight time of 8 hours 15 minutes eastbound and one hour longer in the other direction. United is to begin, also daily and non-stop, service from Chicago O'Hare to Osaka, and from San Francisco to Beijing both beginning next Thursday 10 June.
