UNITED AIRLINES has been saved. Whilst the US government has refused to further assist the ailing carrier finance houses J. P. Morgan, Citigroup and GE Commercial Finance have come up with a $1bn loan. For certain it is not a philanthropist deal but it will give the airline another year to reorganise itself and hopefully come out of Chapter 11. And with this in mind the Chicago based airline has become the latest carrier to enhance its long haul operations. The new improvements include a reconfiguration of three-cabin 747, 767 and 777 aircraft with up to five more inches of legroom in the United Economy Plus and seven additional inches of legroom in the United business sections. In come new amenity kits that now include Crabtree & Evelyn's all-natural bath and body care products made exclusively for United as well as healthy food choices, this latest fad catching on fast with airlines. However if you are not too concerned with your waistband and flying out of London, bread and butter pudding has been introduced in United”s business class. Ice cream too.
