TIGER AIRWAYS, 49% owned by Singapore Airlines, has taken off. The new south east Asia, Changi Airport, Singapore-based, budget carrier”s maiden flight was to Bankok, a three times daily service. Phuket follows on Wednesday 22 September and Hat Yai from 29 September. The airline currently has two Airbus A320 with another pair expected by the year end.
