COVENTRY AIRPORT”S expensive public enquiry drones on and is expected to continue until June. In the meantime Thomsonfly has nearly completed its first year of operation and recently announced its one-millionth passenger booking. This summer the airline will fly to Barcelona, Faro, Paris, Malaga, Valencia, Alicante, Palma, Ibiza, Venice, Jersey, Pisa and Amsterdam. Thomsomfly plan is to replace the temporary terminal that is already in place whilst Warwickshire County Council wants to close the public transport flights in and out of the 70 year old airport. Coventry City Council supports the development. And clearly so do the vast majority of the public.
