TAP Air Portugal will add six new routes within Europe and
to Africa next summer, the carrier announced.
The routes include new services to Tunisia, with weekly
flights to both Djerba and Monastir, as well as two weekly flights to Oujda,
Morocco. TAP also will add three weekly flights to Zagreb, Croatia, as well as
new services to Spain, with two weekly flights to Ibiza and one weekly flight
to Fuerteventura.
All new flights are from Lisbon and will begin between May
and June except for Zagreb, which is set to begin in March.
In addition, TAP plans to start service from Lisbon to
Cancun, Mexico; Cape Town, South Africa; Agadir, Morocco; and Santiago de
Compostela, Spain, next year. All four destinations were announced for this
year but were postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
