STYRIAN SPIRIT suddenly failed last Friday. The Austrian regional carrier flew four times per week from Klagenfurt to Luton. Swiss has quickly stepped in and is operating its own services on the Zurich ” Graz and Zurich ” Krakow routes. The flights were previously performed by Styrian Spirit under a codeshare agreement. Swiss will initially take over these services until the end of March. Whether they will continue to be offered from April onwards remains to be decided. A creditors” meeting for Styrian Spirit has been called for today (27 March) when more details are likely to emerge. All other Styrian services have been grounded.
