FARNBOROUGH visitors every other year would possibly have noticed that the skyline on the other side of the runway (the north side) keeps changing. By 2006 it would have altered once again by the completion of TAG Aviation”s ”10m operations and terminal building sited next door to the fixed base operator”s very modernistic hangar facilities. TAG, which took over the former MoD airfield in 1998, expects to see 19,000 take-off and landings at the airfield this year. The terminal, due to be ready for use in early 2006, will include passenger lounges, meeting rooms and offices for the company”s administration staff. Also in operation by that time will be FlightSafety International”s new European headquarters including 14 flight simulators.
