SINGAPORE AIRLINES is now very active in promoting its new Changi ” LAX service which it will introduce on 3 February 2004. Called ”Executive Economy” the seats feature an expanded seat pitch of 37", a seat-back recline of 8 ", a leather adjustable headrest, and extended leg and foot rests. A 9 " personal video monitor and AC power supply outlets are installed in the seats, which are positioned in a spacious 2-3-2 configuration in an Airbus A340. The new cabin will also feature the first in-flight lounge available in economy class, offering passengers an area to socialise, stretch their legs and help themselves to snacks and beverages.
