Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) will launch twice weekly flights to Stockholm from Birmingham starting on March 30 2018.
The service will be Birmingham’s first non-stop flight to the Swedish city and will be operated on Friday and Sunday by SAS’s B737 aircraft, with 120 seats. The airline says fares start from £82 one way including taxes and charges.
William Pearson, Birmingham airport’s aviation director, says the new route compliments its existing service to Copenhagen, while SAS regional sales manager Niko Ek comments that the airline has seen growing demand from passengers flying out of Birmingham.
