GREENLAND is no longer connected to the outside world by Scandinavian Airlines System, SAS. More than 50 years of flying history came to an end on Friday, as SAS made its final flight from Kangerlussuaq/Southern Str”mfjord to Copenhagen. SAS has withdrawn from the Greenland market after several years” hard competition with national carrier Air Greenland, the former Gr”nlandsfly, which now becomes the sole operator between Greenland and Denmark.
