RYANAIR more or less simultaneously opened nine new routes last week taking its total to 146 hubbing out of 11 bases. The Stansted destinations are Linz in Austria, Bari in Italy, Erfurt in Germany and Jerez in southern Spain bringing the total destinations from the Essex airport to 41. In its press release the airline failed to include airport charges and security taxes once again, the figures meaningless to the travelling public. The OAG name of the airports were also not noted adding to the confusion.
