RYANAIR has backed down from its policy of being Europe's meanest airline when it comes to cabin baggage. The airline has increased the carry-on luggage allowance from just 7 kilos to 10 kilo with immediate effect. The current hold baggage maximum allowance of 15 kilos per passenger remains unchanged and is the least offered by any European airline.
