BAGHDAD is again linked to the world airline network following Royal Jordanian Airlines decision to resurrect passenger flights between Amman and the capital of Iraq. These were suspended in November after a missile hit a courier plane shortly after it took off from Baghdad Airport. RJ ran the only regular UN-sanctioned service to Baghdad before the start of the Coalition led war on Iraq. It resumed daily passenger flights after the end of the war through a subsidiary called Royal Wings.
