PARIS CDG terminal 2E suffered a disaster early yesterday morning (Sunday 23 May) when the roof collapsed of a main module killing up to six people. The new terminal, which only opened in June 2003, handles Air France and its SkyTeam partners Aeromexico, CSA Czech Airlines, Delta Airlines and Korean Air. The accident is expected to cause serious disruption at the airport over the coming week. Had it not happened at 0700 on a Sunday morning the consequences could have been far worse.
