ROLLS-ROYCE has won the business to supply Trent 700 engines for the three Airbus A330 aircraft ordered by Lauda Air Italia, the holiday charter airline. The engines are covered by a 10 year total care contract. In another deal, announced at the recent Zhuhai Air Show in China, International Aero Engines, in which Rolls-Royce is a senior shareholder, is to supply V2500 engines for Air China”s new fleet of eight Airbus A319 twinjets.
