QATAR AIRWAYS has become the first carrier from the Middle East to fly to Yangon (Rangoon), one of the more inaccessible Asian capitals. The two class Airbus A319 four times weekly flights from Doha connects with most of the ex-UK services. In fact the Doha national airline has had a very busy few weeks opening up new routes to the Seychelles just before Christmas and to Johannesburg and Cape Town over the weekend just passed.
