Qatar Airways is to relaunch flights between Doha and Helsinki this summer after a gap of four years.
The Gulf carrier will initially offer four flights on the Doha-Helsinki route from 15 July before going daily from 1 August. Qatar Airways plans to use Boeing 787-8 aircraft on the route.
The airline also plans to restart services from Doha to Tokyo Haneda Airport on 15 July after last serving this route in March 2024. There will initially be four flights per week before going daily from 1 August. Qatar Airways already flies to Tokyo Narita Airport.
Meanwhile, the carrier is continuing to restore services around the Middle East, which were badly disrupted by the outbreak of the Iran war in late February.
Qatar Airways has just restarted double-daily flights from Doha to Abu Dhabi, as well as services to Baghdad, Basra and Erbil in Iraq earlier this month.
