QANTAS has taken delivery of its first Airbus, an A330-200, one of 13 A330s to be added to the fleet over the next three years as part of the airline's comprehensive fleet plan. The two-class 300-seat A330-200 will be used on key Cityflyer routes between Sydney and Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth. The A330-300 aircraft that will be delivered late next year will provide for growth on regional international routes. The Qantas A330-200 is the first Airbus aircraft to be fitted with the manufacturer's new cabin interior.
