FLYBLU is the name of a proposed new airline based at Birmingham International Airport which plans to offer flights to Florida from next Easter. The carrier has booked space at World Travel Market and has a start-up web site. The US is not well served from the Midlands with only Continental offering a scheduled daily service, to Newark New York, and MyTravel Airways with charter flights to Orlando.
