PHUKET AIR, the Thai airline, has launched its new Gatwick ” Bangkok route, the airline”s third international service. It is the only airline to serve Bangkok direct from Gatwick. A Thai themed Boeing 747 is used for the operation in a 26 business class and 440 economy class configuration. The airline plans to go daily and non-stop for the winter season. Domestic destinations from Bangkok include Phuket (naturally), Krabi, Burirum, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai and Mae Sot. Gordon MacFarland, is the new general manager UK & Ireland (see left)
