The Oneworld alliance has launched a drive to gain a bigger share of the business travel market from Belgium. It is offering small and medium-sized Belgian companies discounts of up to 50% on international air fares in return for regular bookings.
The flights in question start from Brussels, Amsterdam and Luxemburg and apply to specially discounted ”businessflyer” tickets. Five of Oneworld”s airlines fly to Belgium”British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Iberia, Finnair and Aer Lingus. Although Oneworld confirms Aer Lingus” withdrawal from the alliance is April 2007.
Oneworld Commercial Director Filip Lemmens commented: "Businesses in Belgium now have a real choice for their worldwide travel needs.
