Oman Air has launched its daily Manchester-Muscat service.
The inaugural flight arrived in Manchester at 19:05 on May 1.
The new 7.5 hour service leaves Manchester daily at 20:45 and arrives in Muscat at 07:20 the next day. The return service departs Muscat International every day at 14:00 and arrives in Manchester at 19:05.
The new daily service from Oman Air is operated by an A330-200 and is in addition to the double daily flight from London Heathrow, making Manchester the only airport outside of London to have direct flights to Oman.
Oman has seen a 17.7 per cent increase in visitors from the UK and Ireland over the past three years, helped by “considerable investment” in the MICE market.
