Oasis Hong Kong Airlines has sold over 10,000 tickets since it opened its reservations operations two weeks ago. The airlines is preparing for its maiden flight from Hong Kong Chek Lap Kok to Gatwick on October 25. Oasis currently owns two Boeing 747-400s (previously owned by Singapore Airlines) with plans to expand to a fleet of five aircraft by the end of 2007. Engineering and maintenance will be carried out by HAECO, one of the world”s leading aviation maintenance providers.
