OASIS HONG KONG AIRLINES has taken another major step forward in its
plans to introduce services to Gatwick in October. In July it
announced the award of route licences. Aircraft broker Cabot Aviation
has confirmed the sale of a Boeing B747-400, previously with Singapore
Airlines. Oasis is a new low fare airline based in Hong Kong,
offering two-class configuration and value fares to long haul
destinations. Behind the new carrier as chief executive is Stephen
Miller, founder of Dragonair, who says that the plan is to offer 81
luxury business class seats and 278 in economy.
