Official Airline Guide (OAG) has added fare search and booking functionality to its online flight look-up service, OAG Flights.
Having extended its partnership with online travel search company, SideStep, customers can now find fares and book trips direct from the OAG Flights website, which offers a complete database of all scheduled flights worldwide.
”OAG is the original source of the flight schedules information you see on most travel websites, but without the bias,” said OAG Travel Services managing director, David Rosen.
”We are introducing fares and booking to our online service as a direct result of customer feedback. Our subscribers love the completeness and simplicity of OAG Flights and want the ability to book as well.”
OAG Flights is a subscription-based service that offers departure and arrival times, flight durations, airport and terminal information, as well as details of direct or connecting services.
”SideStep”s innovative real-time search technology further enhances OAG”s current online experience for travellers and those who arrange travel,” said SideStep director of business development Europe, Tim Simmonds.
”OAG Flights customers now have the ability to compare fares from more than 200 leading travel sites via SideStep”s search engine to find the web”s best travel bargains and then click through to make a booking directly with the relevant online agency, consolidator or airline.”
