Norwegian passengers can now earn loyalty points when shopping at hundreds of UK retailers including John Lewis, Tesco and Marks and Spencer.
The airline is launching an ‘e-shop’ which allows members of its loyalty scheme Reward to earn extra points for online shopping.
Passengers earn Cash Points which can be used to pay for flights in full or partial and extras such as checked luggage and seat reservations.
Brede Huser, SVP at Norwegian Reward said: “Norwegian Reward is quickly growing its partner network in the UK to give more choices to our members and to make their money travel further when flying with Norwegian.
“This is the first time we are giving our UK members a fast and simple way to earn CashPoints from everyday online purchases at nearly 1,000 leading UK retailers.
“Now Norwegian Reward members can convert CashPoints earned from their weekly grocery shop into high quality, affordable flights to Europe and worldwide with Norwegian.”
Norwegian’s new scheme is launched with Collinson Group.
