Norwegian has launched direct flights to Denver, Colorado and Seattle, Washington.
The Gatwick to Denver International service commenced on September 16. The route will initially feature two weekly flights on Tuesdays and Saturdays for the remainder of the summer season, then will increase to three services with the addition of a Thursday departure.
Meanwhile, the Gatwick to Seattle-Tacoma International airport took off on September 17 and will feature four flights a week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
The airline says some tickets will be available from £179 one way for economy seats and passengers will fly aboard a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, which offers 344 seats in two cabins – economy and premium. All customers have access to complimentary in-flight entertainment, while premium seats offer more legroom, a special meal service, baggage allowance and lounge access at selected airports.
The two new routes are Norwegian’s eighth and ninth to the US from Gatwick. The airline has announced that by March 2018, it will be the second largest long-haul carrier at Gatwick, with 13 direct routes following the launch of Singapore earlier this month, Buenos Aires in February and Chicago and Austin in March 2018.
