NEW YORK”S other international airport, Newark Liberty, considered by many to be much better than Kennedy for all sorts of reasons, is to be boosted with new services by JetBlue. The Nasdaq listed airline plans to introduce services to Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, West Palm Beach, Tampa and Fort Myers (Florida) in October, and to add daily non-stop service between Newark and San Juan, Puerto Rico, starting 17 November. The budget carrier expects to operate all flights from Terminal A. With the addition of Newark, JetBlue will offer 77 daily flights to The Sunshine State, the most between the greater New York metropolitan area and Florida, of any airline. In November the airline will begin to introduce the first of 100 Embraer 190 on order.
