AER LINGUS is to introduce three new routes from Cork to continental Europe to start from March 2004, Alicante, Barcelona and Milan. Flights to Alicante will operate on Mondays and Fridays, to Barcelona on Tuesdays and Thursdays, whilst Milan will serve on Wednesdays and Sundays. Aer Lingus currently operate direct flights from Cork to Amsterdam, Heathrow, Malaga and Paris. The airline says that the new routes will give it a 50% growth in capacity at Cork. http://www.aerlingus.ie
