AIR FRANCE has unveiled a range of totally revamped ground and inflight products. There are two main new features, the redesigned l'Espace Premi”re First Class with added space and privacy, and the further enhanced l'Espace Affaires Business Class for optimum passenger comfort which will be introduced from November. The aim is to give passengers a travel experience in distinctive French style. At a time when many international airlines have decided to withdraw first class on their flights, Air France is opting to enhance the available services and render them even more luxurious than in the past, on a very carefully selected number of routes, with eight seats instead of 12, an extra 50% personal space, plus a real bed with a proper mattress. The AF business class now offers what is technologically referred to as a "lie-flat" bed, which reclines to 180”. Its rigid shell guarantees a volume of personal space enabling the passenger to stretch out for optimum comfort. The long-haul Tempo (economy) has also been upgraded.
