LAS VEGAS welcomed more Brits last week, the start up of bmi”s three times per week non-stop two-class service from Manchester to the gambling capital of the world. Virgin Atlantic have flown from Gatwick since 2000 and not to be outdone its namesake radio station Virgin Radio sent its breakfast duo of Pete & Geoff off for a week to host their show live from the MGM Grand, the culmination of a five week radio promotion with bmi. With casinos very much in the public eye at the moment the promotion was one of the largest ever heard in the UK reaching over 6m listeners. Fifty-two competition winners will be flown to Las Vegas to compete live on air to win a-once-in-a-lifetime VIP stay in the entertainment capital of the world. Our photo on http://www.abtn.co.uk shows a London taxi with Geoff and Pete in command. For what reason we are not sure. However London winners will use Heathrow ” Manchester to connect with the flights.
