MONTREAL is to get a new airport, or at least a new airport name, from 9 September 2003. Dorval, or YUL in the OAG schedule, the city”s international gateway, is to be renamed Pierre Trudeau Airport after the man who originally gave the go-head for Montreal”s other airport, and white elephant, Mirabel. The former Prime Minister, who died in 2000, remains unpopular with Quebec separatists who see Trudeau as the man who thwarted their calls for independence from Canada. http://www.admtl.com
