MONARCH SCHEDULED, now an important part of the major charter airline, is to offer flights from three regional airports, which have missed out on the booming European budget airline travel.
By basing a 174-seat Airbus A320 at Malaga from the start of the winter season the airline will, for the first time, offer services to the south of Spain from Aberdeen, Blackpool and Newquay airports.
The airline expects the new services to also be attractive to incoming passengers, as all three airports in these areas are difficult to get to from mainland Europe.
