MONARCH, best known as one of the UK's longest established charter airlines (1968), is developing at an astonishing rate as a scheduled airline.
Figures for April show a 40% rise over last year and 260,000 passengers carried.
May looks like being even busier with the airline last week adding a third daily service to Malaga from Manchester and the single daily flight to Lisbon from Gatwick doubled.
Lanzarote gained services from both Birmingham and Gatwick.
Other new flights since the beginning of the month include both Gatwick and Manchester to Menorca and Palma joined to Birmingham and Luton.
