MANCHESTER is to gain yet another daily Monarch Scheduled route from 1 November with the announcement that Barcelona is to be added to the Luton-based airline”s northern network.
It comes hot on the heels of Monarch's recent news that it is to launch Gibraltar and Tenerife from Manchester.
These three new routes will complement the airline”s existing services to Alicante, Faro, Malaga and Palma.
The addition of the new operation means that Monarch Scheduled”s capacity will have grown by 204% from Manchester since last winter.
The new routes will operate on a 180-seater A320 aircraft and include a full in-flight service comprising of hot food with wine, complimentary bar drinks, daily newspapers, hot towels, in-flight TV and reserved seating.
