CLUB 328 newly appointed CEO Mike Farge last week outlined his strategy to take the Southampton-based executive jet operator company forward. With the return to the UK of two aircraft (a Citation V and Hawker 700), previously based in Switzerland, Club 328 has more capacity to offer into the ad hoc charter market. He said that Club 328 would not pursue operations of a 32-seat 328 as previously planned but would concentrate on operating aircraft of between six and 19-seats. Mr Farge highlighted that Club 328 was especially interested in the new light jets such as the Raytheon Premier 1. Southampton, its synergy with the south of France and the prosperous leisure boating industry, was proving to be an ideal location from both a charter and aircraft engineering point of view.
