MANCHESTER - NEW YORK is booming as a North Atlantic route according to figures released by airport chief executive John Spooner. British Airways operates a daily Boeing 767 to JFK with a load factor regularly higher than 80%, Continental flies to Newark every day except Tuesday using a 767 and averaging 90%. From 12 February it goes back to daily. Also offering flights on five days of the week is Pakistan International with a Boeing 747.
