Members of the Unite union employed by Menzies Aviation have called off a strike that was due to take place this weekend.
Baggage handlers were preparing to go on strike from 0300 on Saturday until 1400 Sunday.
However, a Unite spokesperson said action had been suspended after “productive talks” with Menzies Aviation.
It was one of a number of threatened strikes at the airport for the summer, with the majority of other employees calling off industrial action earlier this week.
Union members employed by CCS, which provides assistance for passengers with reduced mobility, are still proposing to go ahead with a walk-out from 0500 Monday, 28 May until 0500 Wednesday, 30 May, but Luton says it does not anticipate any significant impact on operations.
