LUFTHANSA has formed a code share alliance with TAP Air Portugal. The agreement, effective 1 February, will also include reciprocal acceptance of frequent flier miles. Lufthansa's frequent flier programme is called Miles and More, and TAP Air Portugal's is called Navigator. TAP Air Portugal is slated to join the Star Alliance in spring of 2005.
