AVRO may no longer be in existence as an aircraft manufacturer but the 146/RJ series seems to be much in favour with Swiss rumoured to be the home of six aircraft not required this winter by British Airways CitiExpress. This will bring the total operational aircraft currently being used by the Lufthansa Group to 61. Of the just under 400 aircraft manufactured around 350 are still in service including 12 with AF owned Cityjet.
