LONDONDERRY AIRPORT, bordering the Republic, and to the far west of Northern Ireland, is to benefit with two new routes, joining existing services to Dublin, Glasgow and Stansted. Irish airline Aer Arann is planning two new destinations with one flight to Manchester and one to Birmingham daily from 7 June. City of Derry Airport not only serves people from Londonderry city but people in counties Londonderry, Tyrone and Antrim and those living in Co Donegal in the Irish Republic.
