SMARTWINGS is the name of the latest budget operator to launch services between London and Prague. The carrier, part of Travel Service AS, said to be the largest private airline company in the Czech Republic, will introduce a six times per week service out of Gatwick next Monday 1 November. Smartwings already offers the same frequency between Prague and Dublin. With a fleet of ten Boeing 737s last year the airline flew more than 1.23m passengers in 2003.
