BREMEN in north west Germany, close by the Netherlands border, is the latest airport to be linked to London City Airport with twice weekdaily flights and single Saturday and Sunday services introduced last weekend by OLT, the German regional operator. A 50-seat Saab 2000 turboprop is used for the 80 minute flight. Bremen Airport is close by the city centre of a region with a population of 3.5m. The nearest alternative services to London are from Hamburg, 70 miles to the north east.
