ACCOR is to rebrand Le Meridien Gatwick as a Sofitel hotel. The hotel, at the North Terminal, will be run under a franchise agreement with Arora International Hotels. The chain has also announced it is to open a 600-bedroom Sofitel at Heathrow's Terminal 5 in 2008. This will also be a franchise with Arora. The company added that it aimed to ensure both hotels were fully geared up for the corporate market, as well as the leisure traveller.
