AIR FRANCE will make aviation history next Saturday (31 May) when its last ever Concorde scheduled flight leaves JFK New York at 0800 and is expected to land at Paris Charles de Gaulle 1745 later that day, both times being local. The first ever AF scheduled flight took place on 21 January 1976, bound for Rio de Janeiro via Dakar. It was not until November 1977 that Concorde was allowed into New York. This was officially a 16 month test operation that is still running and will not finish until BA finally lays the aircraft up later this year. http://www.airfrance.com
