Kuwait Airways and Royal Jordanian passengers can now take laptops in the cabin on US-bound flights.
The laptop ban had been put in place by the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) earlier this year, covering flights from ten Middle Eastern airports to the US, including Qatar Airways’ Doha base.
The announcement follows the dropping of the ban on Qatar and Etihad flights.
Royal Jordanian, which flies to three US cities from Amman, the Jordanian capital, lifted the ban after new security measures were implemented for US-bound flights.
State-owned Kuwait Airways, which flies from Kuwait to New York via Ireland, said the ban was lifted after US officials inspected security measures on its flights.
The latest announcement leaves Egyptair, Royal Air Maroc and Saudi Arabian Airlines as the remaining airlines with the ban.
